Here's an oldie. As we approach the stormy season, I look forward to more lightning hunts on my balcony.

Ultra-Wide

This week I invested in a new lens, the Canon EFS 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM. This provides a super-wide angle view of any scene. The pic below was taken with its most extreme setting. I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do with this new piece of equipment--particularly at the wedding coming up this weekend!

My second installment in my 12 of 29 is admittedly a hasty job. I forgot all about it until today, second to last day of the month. Anyway, I had some fun tweaking it.

A New King is Crowned

In a previous post I showcased a photo that had been deemed by Flickr's mysterious algorithms as my most "Interesting." This particular photograph of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle reigned as my most interesting photo for years, until yesterday, when for whatever reason it was unseated by this pic.



This is an older pic, taken very soon after purchasing my previous camera, the Canon Rebel Xti. Little Adelyn was but one day old.
